bit confused by the chapter maybe cos the version I read was a little dodgily translated.

Thought it was a bit of a nothing chapter with just some attacks going back and forth.

another boring issue with lazy writing pointless jutsus and no cleverness or ninja skills. No scrolls, no outwiltting opponents, just more superpowers. Im really starting to hate this book. I wish hed just get it overwith cuz im as tired of reading lazy stories as kishi seems to be of writing them.

So kishi decided to stay with the Sharingan brothers fight... It showed a bit of the brothers history... fighting some big pig......... they tried to use the same pattern against Kabumaru. Not bad... The snake's senjutsu is prety leathal. I don't think there is any way Sasuke could beat Kabumaru by himself. It was a very good fight... I can't wait to see it on the Manga. The brothers seem to be working better together now, relying on eachother more... I don't see Kabumaru lasting out much longer. I'm sure he has all kinds of tricks up his sleves still. I wonder how Sasuke will react to the ending of the edo tensi? Because you know Itachi will go back to rest... I hope Sasuke won't freak out, and rely on hatred and revenge after it all... and he just decides to help out in the Ninja war... But at the same time.. thats way too anticlamatic isnt it? Sasuke going back to the good side? Quiting his Darthness ways? I guess... it really can't end that way can it? He's already a rouge ninja with bounties on his head. He can't erase it... even if he helped defeat Tobi should Naruto be unable to do it himself... So what then? Sasuke will have to stay on corse and fight with Naruto. Some how...

I've reread it and it was I still think it's a bit of a nothing chapter.

I think it's purpose was to bond Itachi and Sasuke as well as giving them some basis for teamwork. Seems a little cheeky to have a whole chapter for it!

So Sasuke favoured the bow back in the day. Seeing Itachi and Sasuke working together reminded me of Madara and Izuna.

For a bit I thought the flashback panels were how Kabuto was seeing them with his Snake sage vision

The chapters purpose was to remind us and the characters that they were brothers and did have some moments together.

In the Naruto series, Itachi never taught anything to Sasuke; neither they took missions together, even asked by Sasuke

That flash back scene, was that an official mission from the Hokage? or merely a hunting trip during their happy times. There's no way, Sasuke will be out with Itachi for a mission, it was surely one of Sasuke's training lesson.

Anyhow, this chapter proves one thing.. Sage Mode is the real deal, under this form.. one can even out power the strongest of blood line.
