I think Madara is trying to engage Naruto with Zetsu and trap him within that. May be he is hoping that Naruto will have to spend a lot of his chakra to confront 50000 Zetsu. Moreover, Naruto is using multi-shadow clone. It is too risky in nine-tail mode as told by Killer Bee.

The new chapter is out already.. not as great as the last few chapters, but still pretty good

This chapter was weak. Kishi's timing is way off. If he wanted to show Gaara then he should've done that a few episodes ago, or showed him a few episodes from now.
Everyone was hoping to see Naruto/Tobi doing something that moves the story along. This week was devoted as a setup for Gaara's battle, but they already had a setup for Gaara and all that momentum was lost.............. Now all the momentum Naruto had is lost because the chapter ended showing Gaara.

Whatever, now we've invested in this Gaara fight so hopefully Kishi will make it good.

Yea you're right about the timing and momentum, and the funny thing is next chapter probably won't even show gaara or the kages fighting. I wouldn't be surprised to see Kishi skip around to some other random event.

Well in the First Day of battle, Kages didn't fight except they stepped back just like planned before. So that might have ended the First Day.

Now we might see the cool fighting skill of Gaara, which will shock his father letting him knowing Sukaku is no more in his body.

Its Natural that after seeing the Cool moved of Naruto's rasengan, everybody wants to see him fighting. Also Madara is in his way. He is not using ST Technique to reach the Battlefield.

Now Naruto is in move and Kages have already clashed, so the next chapter will be mixed up story with the Kages and Naruto and hope some more flashbacks. As there are new shinobis whose past have to be known.

I totally disagree with the earlier posts about losing momentum stuff...

I expect in Gaara's fight, we will know how the powers of a Tailed Beast can continue to live on in the Jinchuriiki even though it has been taken off from his body.

By knowing this, we will understand better how the 6 revived pain-jinchurrikis will be able to fight!!!

in other words, it is not the end of the momentum, but rather just a beginning of a larger fight! (^^,)

I agree, the Gaara fight isnt gonna have anything to do with the flow of the previous stories, its just loose ends he has to tie up. Im sure that fight will be over next issue and itll be on to shikamaru or something stupid. Gaara isnt an important character anymore, he shouldve finished that issue when he started it. Gaara doesnt have biiju powers anymore. You know why Gaara still controls sand and has ultimate defense? Cuz kishi does what he want when he wants. Hes long stopped trying to make everything make logical sense and fit together.Hes trying to get on with his career and hes tired of naruto.
