Re: The Grass around the Leaves
Miyori's disembodied figure flew through the air continuing on until it reached the the Kage Monument, a stone monument with the engraved faces of past Hokage engraved upon the mountain's surface. His figure reforming in a haze of black feathers and smoke until he stood atop the figure of the third Hokage's head. From here Miyori could see many of Konaha's invaders traveling the streets and rooftops of the village.
Despite his advantage of being able to spot the Grass Shinobi, Miyori's attention wasn't concerned with them. What had caught his attention was the fact that he was being tailed, or at least had been. Sitting down on the very edge of the monument's head Miyori would look out over the village and watch from afar as many of the Leaf's inhabitants took up arms to defend their home. Although he was expected to do the same, Miyori felt he had no obligation to protect this village.
A small explosion from somewhere below would trigger, snapping Miyori from his thoughts. looking out over the village he was reminded of how much different Amegakure was in comparison. How he missed the constant fall of the rain, the steel skyscrapers, the cool air. here it was warm, dry, and unnatural. Turning his attention back onto his pursuer Miyori sat and waited.
